FLL Team Overview: Costs, Schedule, and Participation Details
Registration Fee:
The registration fee for the entire season is $900. This fee covers:
- Team kit and materials
- Entry to competitions
- Instruction and coaching throughout the season
Additional Costs:
While the registration fee covers most expenses, additional costs may include:
- Travel expenses for competitions
- Team uniforms (if applicable)
- Extra materials for projects
Payment Deadlines:
- Fees are due upon registration to secure a spot on the team.
- We accept payments via check, credit card, or bank transfer.
Weekly Meetings:
- Regular Classes: Classes are conducted every Friday from 7 PM to 9 PM in Artesia, CA, from mid-July through August 31st.
- September and October: The schedule might increase to two classes per week to prepare for the competition.
- Pre-Competition Classes: We will have daily classes 7-10 days before the competition to ensure the team is fully prepared.
Competition Dates:
- The FLL competition typically takes place in November. Specific dates will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed
Age and Grade Level:
- Participants must meet the age and grade level criteria set by the FLL guidelines.
Attendance Policy:
- Regular attendance at meetings is crucial for team success. Participants are expected to attend all scheduled classes and additional sessions as required.
